3.2 Product Change
There will not be any product alterations or feature changes to the cleared medical device. A separate user manual (kit) will be created for veterinary users. The manual will be the same except for the addition of the following:
Veterinary Use
The Elekta Medical Linear Accelerator (EMLA) is intended to be used for external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) treatments as determined by a licensed veterinarian.
Note: The responsibility and liability for Veterinary use of the Elekta Linear Accelerator lies with the end user, who shall ensure that the equipment is at all times used in accordance with the content, warnings and cautions found in these Instructions for Use.
No new manuals will be created for 3C products. The risk assessment will cover all risks from these products.
