This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Drummond Group is accredited by ANSI and approved by ONC for the ONC HIT Certification Program to certify: Complete EHR, EHR Module (all), and Certification of other types of HIT for which the Secretary has adopted certification criteria under Subpart C of 45 CFR.

Communication between providers and patients (Patient Portal) Criteria: | Kaiku Health is intended for use in cancer care and follow-up for non-urgent communication between an adult patient and a medical professional and for collecting patient-reported data, displaying and analyzing clinical and patient-reported data, and instructing the patient. The data processed by Kaiku Health are intended to be used as a part of routine clinical practice in order to support effective symptom management. | Organizations using Kaiku Health will be charged an implementation fee for setting up the Service and an annual Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) fee for the product maintenance and support. Organizations who already have an agreement in place will be charged according to prices indicated in the existing contract. Kaiku Health uses MOSAIQ version 2.86 or above as relied-upon Software to meet certification criteria (e)(1) (Cures) and (g)(6) (Cures). Purchase of MOSAIQ incurs additional costs according to MOSAIQ terms of purchase. |
Multi-factor Authentication Documentation and Use Cases
Kaiku Health can be configured to require additional authentication factors for any of first-time sign-up, password reset, and login. The default option is that multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required for password reset. MFA is realized by sending one-time passcodes via SMS message to the user’s phone number registered in the Kaiku Health service.
