Insertion Cannula Kit is designed to obtain safe guidance of implants, electrodes or catheters using Leksell Stereotactic System® or Leksell® Vantage™ Stereotacic System. Length is 190 mm, outer diamter is 2.1 mm, and inner diameter is 1.6 mm. A stylet is used to seal the inner cannula during insertion in the patient's brain. This cannula kit is often used for implantation of deep brain stimulation leads. 

For easy identification both the cannula and the stylet are marked with the length and the inner diameter of the insertion cannula (190/1.6 mm).

Guide and stop inserts attached to the stereotactic arc ensure accurate positioning of the instrument.  A sterilization tray is provided to house the kit during sterilization and storage.
