Elekta Xoft offers patients and physicians a non-invasive alternative to surgery for non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) treatment. With the Elekta Xoft® Axxent® Electronic Brachytherapy (eBx®) System®, painless, scar-free treatment of NMSC is possible with skin eBx, a form of high dose rate, low energy radiation therapy.
Elekta is the authorized exclusive distributor of Xoft products in Brachytherapy. Xoft products are manufactured by Xoft Inc. and may not be available in all markets.

The Axxent surface applicators are a key component of Elekta Xoft, enabling targeted treatment of surface lesions on or in the body.
With sizes ranging from 10mm to 50mm, Elekta Xoft offers a wide range of applicators providing physicians with maximum flexibility in treating a variety of lesion sizes. In addition, the proprietary flattening filter at the apex of the cone ensures even dose distribution across the lesion surface.
Placed on the surface of the target lesion, the surface applicators provide a channel for the miniaturized, x-ray source to deliver isotope-free, high dose rate, low energy radiation treatment. Combined with the comprehensive capabilities of Elekta Xoft, the surface applicators offer an attractive option to physicians and patients for improved flexibility, precision and personalization in the targeted treatment of NMSC.
